What I do
Straightforward garden and lawn work
Four kinds of work, done well and done quietly, on small properties first and larger ones gladly. Every visit ends with a quick note about what was done and what's coming next.

Garden Bed Care
The steady, unglamorous work that keeps a garden looking cared for. Weeding and edging on a regular round, mulch topped up before the weeds get ideas, and beds tidied so the plants stay the point.
- Weeding & edging rounds
- Mulch top-ups
- Deadheading & staking
- Season-long bed tidying

Lawn & Turf Care
Mowing on a regular round, and the turf work that keeps the grass worth mowing: seeding thin patches, overseeding tired lawns, and fertilizer put down at the right time of year rather than whenever the bag is open.
- Mowing & string trimming
- Seeding & overseeding
- Fertilizer application
- Turf management through the season

Planting & Plant Advice
I am not drawing up full planting plans yet, and I would rather say so than sell you one. What I will do is recommend what to add and what to replace, leaning on native and pollinator-friendly species that suit the soil here, then source them and get them in the ground.
- Recommendations for additions
- Replacements for what has failed
- Pollinator borders
- Plant sourcing & install

Hedges & Cleanups
Hedge and shrub trims kept crisp, spring wake-ups when the soil warms, and gentle fall cleanups that leave seed heads for the birds, all on battery power, quiet enough to talk over. Tree work goes to an arborist, not to me.
- Hedge trims
- Shrub shaping
- Spring wake-ups
- Gentle fall cleanups
Through the year
A garden has four seasons. So do I.
Spring
April – May
Bed wake-ups, cutting back last year's growth, first mulch of the season, the first mows, and getting new plantings in while the soil is cool.
Summer
June – August
Mowing on a regular round, steady weeding, deadheading, hedge trims and watering checks through the hottest months of the year.
Fall
September – November
Overseeding and the last fertilizer of the year, then gentle cleanups: seed heads left standing for the birds, leaves shredded into the beds as free mulch, tender plants tucked in.
Winter
December – March
Dormant shrub and hedge pruning on mild days, and planning ahead: plant recommendations, estimates and quotes ready for the first thaw.

A few recent jobs. This gallery grows as the season does. Finished work goes up within a couple of days.
